Booking deposit and fees:
Somers By The Beach booking retainer for sites and cabins is the amount of 1 Night Stay plus a $5 booking fee to Campspot.
Somers By The Beach Campground non-refundable deposits are: $25 +hst for Sites and $40 +hst for Cabins.
To book the Loft, please contact Somers By The Beach office direct by email or phone. When booking the Loft there is a $75 non-refundable deposit for a 3 night stay (June & September) and a $250 non-refundable deposit for a weekly stay (July & August).
Cancellations and changes:
Somers by the Beach has a 7-DAY cancellation policy for camp sites. If site is cancelled within 7 days or less from your arrival date, your deposit is non-refundable. If site is cancelled before 7 days of your arrival date, you will receive your deposit back minus $25 and a $5 cancellation fee plus hst.
Somers by the Beach has a 14-DAY cancellation policy for cabins. If your cabin booked is cancelled within 14 days or less from your arrival date, your deposit is non-refundable. If cabin is cancelled before 14 days of your arrival date, you will receive your deposit back minus $40 and a $5 cancellation fee plus hst.
Somers by the Beach also has a 14-DAY cancellation policy for the Loft. If you cancel you reservation for the loft within 14 days or less from your arrival date you will also be charged additional 1 night stay ($195) on-top of your non-refundable deposit you made.
Any portion of your stay must be cancelled within the cancellation period stated above. For example: Cancelling any days of your stay upon your arrival is not refundable.

No shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
Cancellations due to weather: Owners will make a decision at the time according to the weather alert statement.
There will be no refunds for vacating early.
Refund policy:
Somers By The Beach Campground non-refundable deposits are: $25 +hst for Sites and $40 +hst for Cabins.
If a Site or Cabin reservation is cancelled within the cancellation policy, you will not lose your full 1 Night Stay retainer.
Guests will be refunded their 1 Night Stay minus the campground deposit, the initial booking fee and cancellation fee that is referenced above
Payment:
At check in, payment options are: Cash, Cheque, Debit, Visa and Mastercard.
Check-in & Check-out policies:
Camp Site Check-In starts at 1pm and Check-Out is 11am
Cabin & Loft Check-In is 2pm and Check-Out is 11am
At time of Check-In each guest will receive a bracelet to allow access to all amenities at the park. All guests are asked to wear their bracelets during their stay at the park
If you will be arriving late and checking in after 8pm, please contact the park directly to let them know
Guest charges and accommodation capacity:
Base rate for a Site, Cabin or Loft is for 2 Adults plus their children
For each additional Adult per Site, Cabin or Loft there will be charge of $5 +hst /per night upon arrival
If an additional family is setting up a tent or trailer on a guest site, you must call the park ahead for approval and at time of check-in will be charged $35 +hst /per night
Additional property fees:
For any additional adults and children who are visiting a registered guest at the park and wish to use the facilities such as pool and kayaks will be charged $5 /per person, per day and will receive a bracelet to have access
At each Cabin, there is BBQ access. Guests are allowed to bring their own propane tank or can rent a propane tank at the office. Propane tank rent flat fee is $15 +hst and each additional day after is $5 +hst.
Campfire wood is available at the office for $12 per tray and will be delivered to your site. Please place your firewood order each day by 7pm.
Paddle Boards are available to rent. There are 6 adult boards and 2 children’s boards. Rental fee is Adult $15 per hour and Children $10 per hour. Please see office regarding rentals.
Rules and restrictions:
To be familiar with our campground rules and regulations upon arrival, please read below:
Electric vehicles are not permitted to be plugged at the campground. If a vehicle desperately needs to be charged, please go to the office and there will be an additional fee.
Quiet time is 11PM. We ask guests to please turn off music and keep voices down after this time. All children should be back on their sites by 11PM. If you are out past 11PM please respect your neighbors and us as the owners. In the event that other guests are affected, you will be charged for any compensation of their stay.
All pets must be leashed. Please scoop after your pet (including the beach) and dispose of properly.
Please obey the 15km speed signs throughout the park as there are children playing in the park and biking on the road.
Wifi is available and it is password protected to keep the signal strength stronger for registered guests only. Please see the office and get your Wifi passwords at check-in.
Garbage cans are for regular household waste. All garbage must be bagged before placing in can. No loose garbage. Items such as kitchen appliances, air mattresses, BBQs, lawn chairs, furniture, tents, screen houses etc. are your responsibility. If large items are left at your site you will be charged a $10 FEE.
There will be no alcohol allowed in the Kids Rec Room. Any underage kids consuming alcohol have to do so on their sites unless accompanied by their parents.
Cannabis usage is to remain on one’s own site and not used in any other area of the park. If the odor becomes excessive and causes complaints it will have to remain inside your tent/RV. Please when smoking cannabis respect the cabins and loft from smoke entering in. It is difficult to remove this odor from the premises before the next guest arrives.
DO NOT drive across the park with your vehicle. Stay on the designated roadway.
Please do not litter in park or allow items to blow to adjacent properties.
We ask our guests, please do not take shortcuts and walk through other peoples’ sites. Please explain to your children not to walk or run through other peoples sites.
All fires must be in designated fire pits. Please do not leave a fire unattended and respect your neighbor regarding blowing smoke. All fires must be extinguished before retiring for the night.
Do not use fire pits to dispose of your garbage or items that will blow away.
Kayaks are complimentary for registered guests only. All usage of Kayaks need to be signed out by a parent (no one 17 & Under).
Swimming and use of the dock and other campground facilities are at your own risk. Please see list of rules for the swimming pool at the pool area. Strictly NO DOGS allowed inside the pool area.
Vandalism, deliberate destruction of property, loud or rude behavior will not be tolerated.
We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property. Somers By the Beach insures its own property. Its policy does not cover the property of its customers or guests.
We appreciate when checking out of your site , that it’s left in the same condition as it was when you arrived.
It is very important to go over these rules with your children or other guests that you are responsible for on your site.

Office Hours: Monday to Saturday 9AM-8PM & Sunday 10AM-8PM
Pool Hours: Daily 11AM to 8PM (12 & Under accompanied by an adult)
Camp Store, Sweets Etc. will be open at specific hours daily. Hours will be posted at the park
Kayaks, Paddle Boards, Life Jackets, Games and Other Equipment must be signed out at the office. Adults must sign out paddles and life jackets at the office for their children ages 17 and under.
